How to give a Rat Baytril using a Nebulizer

Last week, I told you about how my parents are giving me CBD Oil to help me feel normal. But, did you know that when it was so hard for me to breath, I couldn’t even eat or drink anything without choking? Well, it’s true, and it was so hard for me to take medicine, but my mommy and daddy are so smart, that they found a way…

Here is the magic cloud machine.

Daddy puts some medicine in it. Like this…

Then, Daddy puts the cloud machine next to me in my bed, pushes the button, then covers my bed up with a blanket. It makes a hissing sound that I used to find a little bit scary, but I’m used to it, now, and my bed fills up with a cloud.

It smells funny, but I can breath better.

I don’t remember what those medicines are, or how they work. Daddy can you please tell me again?

Sure, Tommy. The “Magic Cloud Machine” is a rechargeable, handheld nebulizer like this one.

We fill it with 0.5ml of Asthmanefrin (Racepinephrine)

Mixed with 2ml of a solution of 100 mg of Baytril (enrofloxacin) in 15 ml of boiled water. I have a little 100 mg measuring spoon and a 10 ml measuring syringe.

Like you said, we just put the cloud machine right next to you in your bed, hold the button until it starts and cover your bed to keep the clouds in. After 5 minutes, it stops, and we let you breath in the medicine for another 10 minutes or so. We did it twice a day, and also gave you Baytril and Doxycycline by mouth….
